Well as of late, it has been a tough road. It is heartbreaking to watch the races and always see DJ in the back of the field. I for one will be glad when he switches over to Toyota next year with Michael Waltrip Racing. I just recently wrote an article that has been published as the first "Voice of the Fans" over at Doin' Donuts. If you have not been over there yet, you must go and check it out. They do a live internet radio broadcast every Sunday at 7pm CST. It is hosted by Lori Munro of War-Wagon and Dennis Michelson of StockCarPitPass. Hey Tom, I read your article and it's fantastic. DJ has a terrific fan in you! I agree with what you said on how some people may choose a driver because of his status or looks. It definitely made me think of why I choose to cheer on Carl Edwards. I've also listened to the archives on the shows you've phoned in...these people love hearing from you. They definitely enjoy your fresh ideas and comments. I enjoy listening in :) I wish DJ all the luck with the rest of the season and with his future!
I'm glad to see you back online Tom! It is uncomfortable, even for me, to see DJ running this way.
Maybe Yates will have that shake up with Robby and DJ can be a part of the craziness before he leaves, lol.

I was upset at first that DJ was going to Toyota... But with all this mess that's going on at RYR I can see that DJ did what was best for him!! I think he'll do well with his new team. DJ has always been one of my favorites... He just seems like such a nice guy. I've always said that if I ever got to meet him that all I would want to do is just give him a hug. LOL!!
Sorry, one more thing... I'm gonna add you to my list of blogs... I had you on my other page, I don't know why it didn't transfer over with the rest of them...

Next, it is tough to see any driver of DJ's caliber struggle. However, change is good, so I wish him the best next season. If there is one driver that deserves some good luck, it's him. He'll get there.
