No Sell Out at Fontana
Well I just got done reading an interesting article on Nascar.com about this weeks upcoming race at Fontana and they are saying it will not be sold out due to Las Vegas is only a 4 hour drive and that fans would rather go to Las Vegas vice Fontana. Okay, lets see, why did Nascar give California a second race to begin with? It just doesn't make sense and remember how they got rid of Rockingham in order to give California its second race. I know that Rockingham didn't sell out in February but that track sure did bring to it some exciting racing. The "ROCK" is a one of a kind track and it was sad to see it go. I think Nascar should consider giving a track like Nashville or Kentucky a Cup race, now that would be some race but Nascar is all about the money when in turn it should be about the fans...who do they think supports Nascar? The sponsors? No way!!! I know the sponsors fork out some big time bucks but without the fans, there would be no sport.
Nascar really needs to take a look at this in the big scheme of things.
What is your opinion?
Have a great day,
Tom
